Welcome to the 2012 Golf Season at Berwick Heights
We are looking forward to the upcoming season at Berwick Heights Golf Club and hoping that this year will bring a dryer summer for all of us to enjoy our golf.
We have the privilege this year of hosting the N.S.G.A Mid Amateur Tournament in late June, it will be interesting to see where the N.S.G.A will take the course, especially in the greens and roughs. You will have a chance to play these conditions so I would like to have your feedback on the playing conditions.
We will once again offer our member’s, for their use, a $25.00 (tax’s included) rate on golf carts and a $40.00 (tax’s included) green fee when they bring in a guest to play.
The Ladies and Men’s Day and Mixed events will be starting in May, dates TBA. Our Club Opening will be on the 19th May with golf and a meal this is really a great time to meet up with old and new members so mark it on your calendar.
The Club Championship will be held on the 18th and 19th of August.
The Club Closing will be Sat 22nd Sept with the Mixed on the Sun 23rd and the Ladies on Tue 25th and the Men’s on Sat 29th Sept. The Superintendents Cup which was played under a new format last year and had positive reviews will be played the same way this year on the 8th October with the aerification of the greens and tees starting the following week.
I am hoping to have better luck this year in getting some Home and Homes arranged they are a great opportunity to socialize and play with different people and check out different courses so keep an eye on the notice board.

To take advantage of our early payment special, please ensure that your payment is made, in full, prior to March 10th
Single membership’s will receive two (2) complimentary guest passes and Husband and Wife membership will receive three (3) complimentary guest passes. If your membership is weekday only, the passes will also be weekday only, if membership is full than the passes will be full weekly passes. Student and Junior memberships are not eligible for free complimentary guest passes.
We also ask that those members with private carts in the compound confirm that they will be returning their carts for this season by March 10th as well.
