A Message from our General Manager

June 7th, 2021

As I write this note, it is a beautiful day here on the course. More nice days to come!

COVID-19 is still with us. Tournaments are being rescheduled or cancelled for 2021. As each change is implemented by Nova Scotia Health, we will keep you informed.

We are starting our Men's league on the 9th of this week. All members who play, must have one person responsible for taking their own measuring tape to measure for closest to the hole or line for their group. Please see Men's day information on our bulletin board in the clubhouse.

Our business is picking up. Our membership is growing steadily, and we hope for more golfers to come our way. Saying that, our course is starting to get busy. Golf etiquette must always be respected. If you are having a bad shot or day, let the group behind you, if they are waiting, to play through. They will thank you and it will take a lot of undue pressure off you and your group.

Our course is looking exceptionally good. A lot of work has been done by our maintenance staff to ensure every golfer enjoys our facility. Thanks guys. A special thanks must go to Burdette Coates for her volunteer work in and around our flower gardens. When you see her, please pass on your comments.

I will be putting out more information on our club tournaments/outings soon.

The Junior program will be starting on June 15th with Steve Willmets as the instructor for the group. Postings for the clinic are on the information board in the clubhouse. Registration starts June 8th in the clubhouse from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Our food truck has been here over the last few weeks. TJ’s will be on site every Wednesday and Friday, weather pending. His hours are normally 11:00am to 3:00pm. Please help support the food truck.

If you have any suggestions on how to move forward, in any field, please come and see me. I am looking forward to your input.

Please enjoy the sun. Use sunblock when ever possible. Drink your fluids. Enjoy the game.
